The scenario is pretty clear following the release of the latest BCS standings Sunday: If Notre Dame wins out, it will face the SEC Championship game winner of UGA-Alabama for the national title — that is, provided the Tide beats Auburn and Georgia beats Georgia Tech this weekend.
Four-team playoff finally coming to college football
Finally, a plan has been agreed upon by the BCS commissioners to end the college football season with a four-team playoff, although it won't begin until 2014. (UPDATED: 10:36 p.m.)
BCS might change the conference two-team limit for its five BCS bowl games
The BCS is considering bringing up a plan to change its rule to limit conferences to two teams being eleigible for the BCS five bowl games.
