Early County’s Williams suffers knee injury during second Bulldogs’ scrimmage
Georgia’s second scrimmage of the season provided a scare for one former Southwest Georgia prep football star. Bulldogs safety Shawn Williams of Damascus suffered a knee injury after an interception and had to be taken off the field, but coach Mark Richt said afterward he didn’t think it was as serious as first thought and surgery wouldn’t be necessary.
