Former Tornadoes star Kevin Samuel, one of the Top 100-rated players in the nation in the mid-1990s, played on one of the most talented teams in Monroe history. Samuel averaged 20 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals on a Monroe team that had four of the Top 150 players in the country at the time, including his brother Keith Samuel.
