Georgia will not be playing for its first national title since 1980 after it squanders a late lead Saturday in the SEC Championship, then falls victim to curious play calling at the end of the game with a chance to win as the Bulldogs lose, 32-28, to Alabama, which will now play Notre Dame for the BCS title.
