In the first meeting of the year between local rivals Darton and Albany Tech, freshman Michelle Mitchell (21) and the Lady Cavs got the better of former Westover star Latisha Williams (35) the Lady Titans as Mitchell posted a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds in the 57-36 win. Albany Tech has no answer for Darton’s defensive intensity during Tuesday’s showdown between the two region and city rivals, which the Lady Cavs dominated thanks to 24 Albany Tech turnovers and 25 points from freshman Michelle Mitchell.
