G4S chief executive Nick Buckles has come under fire after his private firm promised to deliver all the security that was needed for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, but instead G4S fell way short and some 3,500 British troops have had to be called in.

With the Summer Olympics just nine days away from starting, officials Tuesday said they were dealing with nothing more than minor setbacks, despite the fact they’re short on security and some venues are water-logged.
