New Orleans case puts scrutiny on NFL bounty pay

The NFL concludes a three-year investigation late Friday into an illegal “Bounty” program being run by the New Orleans Saints, who apparently paid its players bonuses for years to try to injure opposing teams’ high profile players — and now the league is going to likely levy the largest fine in history for the franchise’s actions.
