Albany Panthers quarterback Cecil Lester was dynamite during last season, including a 10-touchdown performance in the title game. But the Panthers’ offense looked a bit a stagnant in their season opener this past Saturday, throwing just three TD passes in a low-scoring, 40-28 victory. (joe.bellacomo@albanyherald.com)

Looking for a spark
Panthers quarterback Cecil Lester and his offense had just 126 total yards in last week’s season opener against Richmond, but with the offseason rust shaken off, the team thinks it will find its groove again Saturday against Louisiana in a rematch of last season’s SIFL Championship game.
