Late Wednesday night after a long rain delay and just before The Herald’s press time, Lee County’s dream of its first state title in school history is dashed by Forsyth Central, which sweeps the Trojans at home in Leesburg — 2-1 in Game 1, then 5-4 in the nightcap — in their best-of-three series.
