Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Paul Maholm was lights out against the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday during a 1-0 win. After giving up 12 runs in his first two starts, Maholm has won four games in a row. He is currently 4-2 after pitching a four-hit shutout to beat the Braves and win the series, 2-1.

The Braves’ bats are stymied Wednesday afternoon by the suddenly resurgent Paul Maholm, who was cast off by the Pirates only to find a home with the Cubs.
