Shawn Petty ran the option at Eleanor Roosevelt (Md.) High, but Maryland coach Randy Edsall recruited the 6-foot-1, 230-pounder to be a linebacker at Maryland. Today, he'll move back under center when the Terrapins host Georgia Tech.
