Not to be: Westover’s historic state run falls short at home

Westover was on the verge of reaching the state quarterfinals for the first time since 2007 — and just the second time in school history — but the Patriots are upset at home by No. 4 seed South Effingham on Friday night, 41-28, ending their dream season.
