ALCS --- GAME 1: Yankees' rally falls short as Tigers win in 12 innings, 6-4; Jeter breaks ankle in loss, out remainder of playoffs

Derek Jeter and the Yankees storm back from a 4-0 hole in the bottom of the ninth in Game 1 of the ALCS late Saturday night, but the rally falls short when Detroit scores two in the top of the 12th inning and Jeter breaks his ankle and has to leave the game.
