Crisp Academy's James Bodrey led the Wildcats to the 2011 GISA Class A state title in baseball and was named to The Herald's 2012 All-Area team. He went 9-1 with a 1.80 ERA, winning nine games in a row after losing on opening day. He also hit .420 and drove in 38 runs. Bodrey died Saturday in an ATV accident. The Cordele Dispatch reported Saturday that Crisp Academy three-sports star James Bodrey, who led the Wildcats to the 2011 GISA Class A state title and had already signed a scholarship with Darton College, is killed in an ATV accident in Laurens County.
