The Dougherty High softball team, which had never been to the state playoffs before last year, is following up its success in 2011 with a heck of a season in 2012, complete with a 10-game winning streak. But the Lady Trojans aren’t just playing to make more history at Dougherty, they’re also dedicating the season to their coach, Essance Satterfield, who died in December. (email@example.com)
