The NFL releases a statement Tuesday afternoon on the highly controversial ending to Monday night's Seahawks-Packers game --- which concluded with Seattle winning, 14-12, on a Hail Mary --- and says the officials' ruling of a simultaneous catch, with the tie going to the offensive player, was correct and that the game's result is final, despite video evidence showing the defensive player maintaining full control of the pass as he hit the ground.
