Hospital board, authority OK settlement

Both the Hospital Authority of Albany-Dougherty County and the board of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital on Monday approved a proposed agreement with the FTC on the county’s acquisition and Phoebe’s operation of the former Palmyra Medical Center. The agreement is now in a 30-day commenting period before it can be finalized by the FTC.
