Looking to keep their NL MVP and two-time World Series champ happy, the San Francisco Giants gladly avoid arbitration with catcher and Leesburg native Buster Posey on Friday, giving him a hefty, one-year salary bump from $615,000 to $8 million — with the hope that a long-term deal between the two sides is next.
