Former Lee County baseball star Jess Posey, a walk-on at Georgia, became the fifth player to both hit and pitch for the Bulldogs this year when he debuted on the mound of an 11-8 loss to Liberty on Sunday. Posey -- the younger brother of MLB star and 2012 NL MVP Buster Posey --- has fared well when he's at the plate so far, going 3-for-6 at the plate in the five games he’s played this season with a double and an RBI.
