An American flag flies over a memorial display of 122 wooden crosses on the front lawn of the Albany Mall Sunday during a ceremony honoring the memory of Dougherty County military service members who died in combat from WWI to the present. The crosses were handmade by Bill Brooks, who was assisted by the Albany American Legion Post 30 in erecting the display which will continue through today.
