A resident has dropped an ethics complaint against the chairman of the Cobb County commission over stadium negotiations with the Braves.
At a packed public meeting in Cobb County, county commissioners approved a series of seven legal agreements with the Braves, and several community agencies that will be involved in building, operating and paying for a new $622 million ballpark.
Braves unveil look of new stadium
The new Atlanta Braves home in Cobb County will feature a huge white canopy horseshoeing around the stadium’s top; parkland, including a mini baseball diamond outside the ballpark; and a man-made lake of about an acre that will serve as a connecting thread.
