ALBANY – Albany State and Coach Quinn Gray added seven college transfers on Wednesday’s national signing day.

“It’s an exciting time to be an ASU Golden Ram and I think the guys that we were able to sign see what we are trying to do here as a program,” said Gray. “With the ability to reach the championship game in year one as a staff, prospective student-athletes realize that we are creating legacies and moving the needle here at Albany State.  And with this class, we were able to bring in some tremendous talent to help us do just that! These guys were truly ALL-IN from the time he stepped foot on campus in early December and look forward to getting to work in January,” the coach said.

Those signing with the Golden Rams Wednesday included:-De’Amare Chambers, from Tennessee State.  De’Amare is a defensive back from Powder Springs, Georgia;

-Kelton Law, a defensive lineman from the College of the Sequoias.  Kelton is from Visalia, California;

-Mikah Lewis, an offensive lineman from Monroe College.  Mikah is from Houston, Texas;

-Arthur Jenkins, a wide receiver, from Florida Atlantic University.  Arthur is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida;
