Three decades after Atlanta welcomed the world for the 1996 Olympic Games, Georgia State University is helping preserve and reimagine one of the city’s most enduring symbols of that historic moment.

Representatives from Georgia’s Own Credit Union stopped at the YMCA as part of a statewide initiative celebrating the start of the FIFA World Cup, donating 176 soccer balls across Georgia, including 26 to the Albany Area YMCA.
