Spooky 5K run to serve as fundraiser for trails at Chehaw

The 5K run will be at 7 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the park, located at 105 Chehaw Park Road, to provide fun for the entire family. Costumes are being encouraged for the trail run through the Chehaw woods. The event also includes a one-mile fun run that will begin at 7:15 p.m.

October events set for Cancer Coalition of South Georgia

The Tift County Cancer STOMP is taking place at the Tiftarea YMCA soccer fields at 1657 Carpenter Road South in Tifton from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday. The annual Cancer STOMP series will wrap up with an event at the Meredyth Place complex located at 2709 Meredyth Drive from 9 a.m.-noon on Oct. 24.
