Phoebe to acquire Palmyra

The Hospital Authority of Dougherty County has voted to acquire Palmyra Medical Center from HCA. The price of the cash acquisition will be $195 million. The acquisition was first reported here this morning and the official announcement was made at an 11:30 a.m. news conference.
