
Jim Hendricks has been employed at The Albany Herald for more than 26 years and is in charge of news, editorial, sports, library, photography and news video operations.
He has a bachelor of art degree in English with a concentration in journalism and a bachelor of art degree in art, both from Valdosta State University.
He is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Albany and currently serves on that organization's board of directors.
He has won multiple writing and illustration awards from the Georgia Associated Press Association and writing awards from the Georgia Press Association.
