Procter and Gamble, Constellation say they are moving ahead with 50-megawatt biomass-fueled plant

The facility is expected to generate 500 news jobs during the two-year construction phase, with 5-70 permanent new jobs once it is in operation. The biomass-fueld plant will supply 100 percent of the steam power to P&G’s Albany manufacturing plant and up to 70 percent of the power used to manufacture products at the Albany P&G facility.
