ALBANY — Harvest Kingdom Jubilee Ministry is hosting “Are You Thirsty? Meet Me at the Well,” a women’s conference, this weekend.

The free event begins at 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday at Harvest Kingdom, which is located at 1711 South Slappey Blvd.

“Our purpose is to provide solutions to many issues that those in our community face today,” conference representative Minister Regina Watts said. “Our desire is that a word will be spoken that will give people hope and will quench their thirst. Jesus is the answer.”

Hosted by Pastor Howard K. James Jr. and First Lady Christine James, the conference will begin Friday night with Wendy Coleman of First Monumental Faith leading the program. Saturday morning’s seminar will feature First Lady Deidre Smith of Berachach Fellowship Church. Pastor Gussie Whitlow of the Church of the Kingdom of God will lead the conference Saturday night. The speaker at Sunday’s session is yet to be determined at press time.

The conference will also include music provided by Cornelius Drake and a performance by praise dancers.

“We’ll have door prizes, as well,” Watts said.
