ASHBURN — Authorities are searching for an Ashburn man in the shooting death of Tommy Wayne Giles, 58, whose body was discovered Saturday in a Turner County field.

Giles, who lived on Little River Road in eastern Worth County, was found around 4 p.m. Saturday in a field off Roby Reeves Road near Sycamore with a gunshot wound to the head, Turner County Chief Deputy Steve Wood said.

Turner County sheriff’s deputies and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are searching for Nathan Emanuel Holley, 34, of Ashburn, who may have worked with Giles previously at C&S Builders in Ty Ty, Wood said.

The sheriff’s office took out murder warrants Monday against Holley, who is believed to be armed and dangerous, he said.

Holley is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has reddish-brown hair and possibly a goatee of the same color, Wood said.

Holley was last seen driving a red GMC Sierra pickup truck with a deer head sticker on the back glass and the words “size matters.”

The GBI office in Perry is assisting Turner County with the investigation.

Anyone with information should call the Turner Sheriff’s office at (229) 567-2401.
