ALBANY — After winning nine state titles combined in track and cross country, as well as earning Herald Player of the Year honors in both sports, Deerfield-Windsor junior runner Kelly Conway has earned a reputation in Southwest Georgia.

Now others are taking notice.

Conway was named to the Nike Southeast individual runners to watch list Wednesday. Only four other girls in Georgia were named to the list.

Conway, who recently set a personal and school record with a time of 19:01 on Sept. 27 at the Mercer Invitational, will run with her Deerfield-Windsor teammates in the GISA Region 3-AAA Region meet next Wednesday at Greenwood Plantation in Thomasville at 4 p.m.
