PELHAM — PELHAM — The Pelham Hornets weren;t able to get much going Friday night against Bacon County, which scored early and often en route to a 34-6 drubbing.

The only bright spot for the Hornets came from Quamaine Thomas, who rumbled in from eight yards out in the first quarter, although the point-after attempt failed.

Pelham (1-5, 0-1) now looks ahead to next week when it faces Lanier County at home.
