Dear Fryar so you actually sit downtown and on Dawson and count cars? Guess your not a SB&t customer. Since your downtown a lot counting anyway you can open up you a personal account at AB&T. They are right in center City. Nice people too and even sounds similar to SB&T. You usually don't have to stand in line there at AB&T. Not many of those cars you seeiing on your corner know where AB&T downtown is located.

No reason for SB&t to have a branch downtown anymore. The businesses and customers are gone and nobody goes there unless they have too.

I thought one article said 2 million gallons of water was lost or drained from system and storage tanks? Maybe that is bad information? If correct I would think finding the leak would not be too difficult. However the repair or temp repair may have been difficult.

I support Hayes on this one. EDC just justified themselves a move to new facilities out and away from the Chamber People. On paper they painted a picture of what a great deal it was to move. Problem is they are using tax dollars to go rent a desperate building from another government intenty.. They should have been out finding a business to lease the space instead of out looking for New Space for themselves. Now they don't share support staff and equipment. Basically the EDC leaders should be fired every 2 yes if they can't produce . They are basically in sales. A salesman that sells little gets canned in the real world.

Sincerely have great confidence in the Marines!!! Some not all of Civil Service and Contract people give the non military a bad reputation out there. Hopefully the ones I speak of are not representative of but a limited number!!

Really! A leaking water pipe can minimize base operations!! Amazing. I would have thought if our Marines in combat put their life in harms way and live in makeshift quarters that our homeland base personnel could survive a shift or two with low water pressure. Hopefully this story does not Leak out!!.
