It certainly wasn't professional regardless of what the student said to him. The teacher has to portray the better person. If he uses such language then he's no different than the disrespectful student.
Some of ya'll didn't seem to have a problem when Dr. Thomas, Dr. JAmes and Mr. Pressely's misfortunes were broadcasted in the newspaper. All of sudden now, this is news not worthy of reporting. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Why not report it? It's news!
Really? A "Great Teacher?" YOu've got to be kidding. He's had several instances where his conduct was inappropriate.
It is not a teacher's job to be disrespectful regardless of what the child did. You must discipline with dignity.
How great of a teacher is he if he has been written up twice for the same thing. Sounds like a stupid teacher to me. He should have learned from the first mistake.
Well... I don't know. However, Jabari made the Georgia High School Coaches Association's State All-Star team again this year. That news never did make it to the Herald.
"McGhee, who has qualified academically for college and wants to major in sports medicine, still hasn’t made up his mind where to sign". We want the "nay sayers" to know that contrary to what's been said academics is NOT why he hasn't signed. With much guidance, thought, and prayer he's taking a different Post Graduate route..One that will be more beneficial and conducive to his prospective basketball career.
Congratulations Jabari! This is a well-deserved honor for you. You played hard and led your team well. We are very proud of you and all of the Monroe Tornados.
