These were the numbers being disputed:

"At a work session last Wednesday, those proposed bi-weekly pre-tax increases were given as $16.85, $33.63 and $43.65, respectively."

Not these:

"$1.42 for the base medical plan, to $2.76 for employee-plus-one and to $3.96 for families who are part of the plan."
