I am thankful a city the size of Albany has a health care system as large and dedicated to this community as Phoebe. If Phoebe wasn't here, thousands of people would be without a job - not to mention those who don't work at Phoebe but who still make money selling services and goods to the health care system. Where would Albany be without Phoebe? We would probably have a hospital that only offers the profitable services - no cutting-edge cancer services or neonatal care, just to name a couple. Those hospitals only update equipment when it is falling apart. Remember, you get what you pay for. If you prefer treatment with outdated equipment and not enough nurses, you can still go to another town. As for me, I'm thankful I can stay right at home and have health care second to none!
