I'll bet'cha its profitable to her since she's the President/CEO of ACT, she probably has a few family members employed there too. Was'nt there a scandal locally a few years back about one of these groups and all the people onboard were family members drawing funds ?? No worry, Obama showed them how its done as an organizer and he's not going to put the IRS on them.

I don't think Mrs Johnson was expecting these type comments against her agenda, LOL I wish she'd expain what Albany Community Together Inc. is and what it does ? Could it be another city grant "front" and waste of taxpayer money.

I'm curious, just what political seat do you have your eyes set on ?? School board maybe ?? After all thats gone down in the last few years your now concerned now about the mass house cleaning going on ?? Most people think its great the system is being sterilized from top to bottom and long overdue but of course there's always a few which don't.

Mrs Johnson, in your 2nd paragraph you ask "how can we expect our kids to "adjust" when every year there are changes in administration and faculty ? " The kids can "adjust" easily to changes but what you should really be worried about is the "learning" part that you left out, THAT is whats important !

The military found out years ago Para-Medics are not fighters, fighters are not Para-Medics. Who wants to be treated by someone with soot/ashes under there finger nails and smelling of sweat & smoke. When you or a loved one are having a heart attack or attacked by a pit bulldog you don't want too hear from the 911 call center the Para-Medics are out fighting a fire and that you'll just have to wait on a back-up unit to arrive from miles away. If this goes through look for a new public service administrator to be hired to oversee the newly merged Fire Dept./ EMS Service at 100K + per year. You'll soon discover the hard way this is a bad idea but once you jump off the bridge its impossible to turn back.

Folks its all a show put on by Saxby, he won't talk about getting his hole-in-one while playing golf with Obama last Monday and getting the Prez to autograph the ball. It happened to be a workday for most hardworking Americans. All the media reported this but not our local news media. Wonder why ?? He's Democrat Blue all the way plus much more !

You currently have a fire chief and EMS director, if these two departments are joined under one umbrella the county will then have to hire a Public Safety director to be in charge of both at a salary of $100k +. Cross training is fine but why stop with these two departments, why not include deputies, public works, building inspectors, animal control etc.

I see where being a felon and owning a rifle is legally wrong but the story leaves out much, what were the explosives ? under-the-sink chemicals ? what makes them terrorist ? what were they plotting if anything ? is this another Waco, Ruby Ridge ? is it a crime now to be white and a gunowner ? They need to focus on the middle east which are actually causing us harm, especially Saudi Arabia where most are bred/born. Scary, but from the description of the people arrested in this story many in South Ga. and across the nation could be accused of being terrorist next.
