What difference does it make where it is held? It is an at large position....This is not a game....Whether it at ASU...or the parking lot in front of Jimmie's Hotdogs the most important thing is the issues....go and see what both candidates are about and stop getting on here with these simple minded antiquated divisive posts and make an effort to work collectively for the good of ALL children in the DCSS.....
Help me out...what exactly did Mr. Jolivette do wrong if he continues to win lawsuit after lawsuit? To me it seems that the blame lies other places than where some of you are pointing. A 2009 charge dismissed and reinstate him at a paygrade 4 levels lower than his original pay? To me it seems there was a personal vindetta against him and he would not stand for it....If he did screw up then there was ineptitude by his superiors and in order to cover up there errors a settlement was reached....Now if you believe he indeed got away with something then imagine if he got close to a quarter of a million dollars from the city what he must have had on the higher ups? He was in position to get even more if it went to trial. Just accept the fact that the city screwed up and may have tried to cover up.....and as far as people being taught at an early age Mr./Mrs tiredofit....you would make those claims and state your name which to me are borderline prejudiced....which to me is clearly a cowardly act.
I grew up with a guy named Matt Fox at the YMCA in Albany...was a pretty good athlete....I wonder if that is his kid....anyway, congrats to u Mr. FOX and the D W Knights....great game
I don't know the Supt. personally nor am I fully abreast on his ability or lack thereof to run my hometown school district but I hear the stories and I read this paper daily...what I have found is that it sure is easy to sit at your computer and bash people when you don't have to reveal who you are.....if he is indeed responsible for the mess that is DCSS then he should go...period...but as citizens what have we done to honestly make our system better?? Have we volunteered? Have we offered our services as a community to make our Professional Learning Community the best it could be? If you haven't then you should do so for the product the school puts out directly or indirectly will affect us....I implore us as a community regardless of race creed or religion to become active in our schools and do what we can to improve it....complaining and throwing rocks then hiding your hands surely is not the answer.

Thank you Mr. Sumner for clearing things up for us...sometimes truth gets muddled in lies and speculation.

That sounds a lot like those E. Albany traps run by the aforementioned...I may be wrong but I stand by my assumption of who you are....
