Why would they appeal? Maybe because they're trying to save face. Maybe they think they can BS their way through the tribunal. Or, maybe they're just to stupid to realize that there really is evidence.

So a governmental entity bonds out a person arrested by that same governmental entity's police department?

What's the most shocking to me is that I found this shocking. I should be used to this kind of stupid.

You know J.D., you might not have had to do as much legwork if you hadn't been all over Facebook telling people the idea was "nutty". It's not like folks are really going to trust you to write an unbiased report when you've already made your opinions pretty clear.

Wonder where all the closet supporters of the bridge sitting on the commission were when it came time to put up or shut up. Nowhere, it seems. Hardly surprising from a group that lacks anything approaching guts.

Yaz Johnson serves as a good example of a bad example. I point to him and tell my son that, no matter what I accomplish in my lifetime, do not EVER do what this guy does. I would rather be forgotten, than to have my name tarnished with a son's arrogance.
There have been plenty of proposals, and Johnson hasn't been satisfied with any of them. I wish the Commission would tell him to go pound sand and leave him alone. Shame on YOU Carlton Fletcher for giving this guy more ink to degrade his father's memory.

It's funny, but most of the Code Enforcement officers have poor attitudes, and Tom Gieryic has always been professional. Take a wild guess who I actually believe? It sure isn't Mike Tilson who is known by many to be used by local officials for look for violations of a punitive nature against opponents. Oh yeah, THIS is the "Good Life City". I'm just glad we're "pro-business". Just imagine what things would be like if we were "anti-business"?

Old Joel is going to get all upset because someone's actually trying to stop him from doing everything he wants, regardless of the lives it destroys.
