The squawker is referring to Republican efforts to block the ObamaCare requirement for contraception to be paid for by entities that oppose the use of contraception, like the Catholic Church. No mention of abortions.
Don't get me wrong, the squawker is still an idiot, but let's at least blast him for the right things.

And yet, Murray did nothing to stop it except to complain to the folks who WERE trying to save it...oh yeah, and running down others behind their back. What a loser.
Silly, silly man. Individual responsibility would mean that people would have to step up and take care of themselves rather than expecting Uncle Sam to do it for them. You know, like Medicaid?
For what it's worth, the email had more to do with illegal aliens than old folks, but I guess you were just to busy being indignant to bother to figure that out, huh?
So, does anyone at the Herald bother to fact check these columns? After all, it's clear that Mr. Murray can't be bothered to get his facts right.

There are a lot of good veterans out there, that's for sure. Some of those great veterans have no use for this guy either from what they're telling me.
Yep, that's pretty much his MO. Kind of sad really. He also apparently that into actually putting forth any effort with these charity functions.
