I think something should be done, but I don't know what. My mother was a teacher in the Worth Co. school system, and her students stole her blind. Where would a teacher be able to store their weapon and keep it safely out of kids' hands? Other than in a holster on their body?
My 91 year old grandmother got MRSA at Phoebe, too. That place is scary.
My husband works in center city Philadelphia, and takes the trains in. He says the homeless stealing shoes from each other is definitely a problem. They sleep in the subway tunnels, take their shoes off and tie them to their wrists and stuff so they don't get stolen while they sleep. The homeless guy's story could be true, but I doubt it.
