So, Carlton has attended another City Commission meeting and again is totally failing to delve into and report airport commission appointment debacle. Why does media prefer to keep this travesty of public policy under secrecy?

No one has been appointed> First one voted on by Airport Commission was refused by city commission while they departed from standard procedure to find anither aspplicant to suit mayor pro tem. Pro tem sent another candidate to airport commission who was also not selected by commission in favor of the qualified candidate in a vote of 4-1. This vote was reported back to city commission lfor last Tuesday's meeting aand mayor decided there was not sufficiwnt time to consider thiis appointment at that meeting. Mayor and city commission are blatantly refusing to follow the procedure according to city law and policy. Do not understand why this issue is not being reported by media which has been present at these meetings.

Now let's get on with cleaning up the mess with the City Commission's appointment to the Airport Commission. Our mayor has certainly disappointed a number of her supporters in her manner of handling this appointment. What a shame that she is not attempting to protect this very valuable asset . The operation of this facility is critical to our city's future opportunities of recruiting business and holding on to the present industrial community. Why are you stalling, Ms. Hubbard, when twice the Airport Commission has presented a highly qualified individual for approval of appointment. Why are you not following the official procedure in place?

Did anyone get the message reported on TV-10 News that the Elections Supervisor stated that the Election Board will vote at an August 15 meeting ( or possibly an earlier called meeting) as to whether Heard's qualifying application was turned in on time? How do you "vote" on the time the application was properly completed? Secretary of State's office is proficient at investigating these events and is aware of the present situation.

They did inquire and were rejected but shredded the rejection. Which one of the two largest in membership Baptist churches in Albany is financially connected to Second Mt Olive?Word is out that one of them assisted in financing of building Second Mt Olive. Any truth to that? How can these churches be audited to prove they are not using church funds for political issues?

Go for it Lorenzo..I had such a good time voting for Lane Price the first round, I (and thousands of others) would certainly love to do so again. You will not stop the scrutinization of current school board member's activities. The investigations are snowballing and you may be caught in the avalanche.
