When I forgot to pay my bill to them a few years ago, I came home one afternoon and had no trash can. When I called to inquire why, I was told that I had not made my last monthly payment. That is the way it should be. No pay - no trash pick up. I went the next morning and paid my bill (to which I never forgot to pay again) and had a trash can delivered to me that afternoon.
I would love to atend this as I really enjoy researching our family history, but with it being during the week, I cannot.
Why exactly are we purchasing a building that is assessed at $1,109,800.00 less that what we are paying for it? Another injustice to the citizens of Albany. Who is getting a kickback on this?
Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to each of you during this time.

The indictments allege that Rivers, the granddaughter of a retired Worth County schoolteacher, stole retirement benefits inadvertently paid by the Teachers’ Retirement System of Georgia (TRS) to Rosa Lee Lumpkin after her death in 1994 until her death was discovered in February 2010.
I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know about Miss Betty passing until this morning. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
