I no longer use Facebook because they kept dropping my password. Then they would send a new password, I would reset, and they would drop it again. I gave up. I understand the desire to keep things civil, but not many problems are solved like that. I saw the comments as encouragement. There were a lot of people in Albany who thought like me and who wanted improvement within the schools and city government. The comments might not have changed the minds of leaders, but they added info to my voiced opinions. And i am sure it did the same for others. Anonymity is a good thing when expressing an opinion that might go against the powers. That is why Albany Police allow anonymous reporting of crime. Retaliation can take many forms. I think this is a mistake and I will miss it.

The same people who think they are justified collecting a 40 year old overpayment while dismissing money owed to you as to many years ago will be deciding if you should have that expensive but life saving operation. I cannot think of a group better suited to make cold calculating decisions about your health. I just hope my politics do not enter into their decisions. Sounds like death panels to me. Conservatives beware.

No you will still pay for it because you can. The only reason I can see for them to change the classification is so welfare recipients have company in government gifting.

Liberals want you to judge them on what they say and not what they do. So, social security is now considered an unearned gift from the government. If asked who authorized the change is anyone going to bet against another "I don't know". That really upsets me. The retirement I have paid for since 1965 is now considered a government gift. That really sucks.

I read where he said "I don't know" 62 times during his questioning by congress. I haven't seen how many times big O has said it, but the question remains. Who is running this government? Unelected bureaucrats?

Cheap labor stifles innovation. After the civil war Yankee farmhands went back to their job to find they had been replaced by machines. Everything now being done via stoop labor can be done by machines. There is to much inertia with the currant system.

But, but we have a 45% cohort graduation rate. That has to be somebody's fault....other than ours.
