Bet the "robbers" are customers of these two dummies. Between the two of them, they are not smart enough to hide the contraband before they called police. Incredible.
Is the new library causing more traffic to be in that area? I recently told a friend from Atlanta, that one day in the future when she comes to visit there will probably be a traffic light at that intersection.
DECATUR COUNTY, GA (WALB) -
A Climax man is behind bars after deputies found hundreds of marijuana plants that he was growing in a field.
A tip led Decatur County deputies to the home of 48 year-old Phillip Byrd at 175 Kemp Road.
Friday afternoon officials caught Byrd cultivating marijuana plants in an abandoned field near his house. Investigators seized more than 600 marijuana plants. Byrd also had processed marijuana in his home.
Byrd was arrested and is currently in the Decatur County jail. He's charged with possession of firearms by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and manufacturing marijuana. Byrd has been arrested in the past for manufacturing marijuana.
Give back to the community by paying a reasonable amount of rent for the building. I find it to be disgraceful to even suggest five dollars. Guess this organization expects a freebie like a lot of other organizations around Albany.
"One of the two men placed into custody by police in connection with the robbery of an East Albany Family Dollar store is walked to an awaiting police car."
Is that gray in the 24 year old's beard?
I have an idea, how about these customers causing the almost seven hundred thousand dollars of bad debt be made to pay higher deposits. That would seem fair since they are the ones causing the debt, instead of everyone being forced to pay higher utility deposits because of the usual "gimme" crowd not paying for the services that they used.
I find it quite ironic that some of these "tax exempt" organizations are sticking their hands out for taxpayer's monies. But when there are questions about how money is spent CG refuses to cooperate. Let's refuse to cooperate on giving them any more money.
Seems like Cutliff Grove just wants another handout. Wonder what they would do if someone owed them almost two million dollars and asked them to forget about half of the money owed to them? I agree with one of the other posts that said something about increasing the rents to cover expenses or have the non paying tenants do the work. Why doesn't the commission refuse to cooperate like some of the people involved with Cutliff Grove did when the misuse of the HUD money came to light? If our city and county has that kind of money to give away I want some money too.
