I wonder how many old white guys who thinly disguise their names with female monikers sit in front of their computer with nothing better to do with their life than squawk all day. What would your life be like if the Herald got rid of the SB and the anonymous comments?
Sister Ruby,
Let me guess. You must be an old man sitting in front of your computer all day trolling. Do you not have anything better to do? Seriously, let go of the bitterness. Be happy mon!
Walt,
That would be true IF logging into this site was the only way you could see it. The same pleasure you are talking about is the same pleasure some of these guys get from posting the ugly things they do. Prospective employees and business Google the net and find all this stuff. The comments people post on this site go WELL BEYOND this site. It’s a shame they don’t realize that.
Couple of questions:
Could/Should Carlton or anyone else for that matter who witnessed this lady’s behavior challenge her by asking her to tone it down rather than let her get away with being a “social bully”?
What is the difference between this “anonymous” lady’s behavior/comments from those “anonymous” folks who sit in front of their computers and comment/type things they wouldn’t dare say face to face with someone on this public website?
Yeah, nothing like a bunch of Old Men with female screen names sitting in front of their computers all day pitching gripes about everything. Bitterness is a terrible thing.
Couple more recommendations along with the first submission:
Kudo's
Ata-boy's
Did You See?
How About This!
Way to Go!
Acknowledged!
Metro Magnificent's (Ok. That may be extreme) :-)
1st Submission: Thanks to the editorial board for having the courage to go forward with
a perpetually positive column as an alternative to the Squawkers!

Albany Herald, I know you aren't trying to sabotage your own idea so please fix the EMAIL ADDRESS listed above because it's incorrect.
In fact why not place some sort of button on the website to fill out a bright side submission online?
