The base is a reflection of society. To somehow think that just because they work on the base there aren't any bad apples is short sighted. Any place you have a ton of equipment and are undermanned then there are opportunities for fraud. It's bad people doing bad things while a majority are doing the right thing by trying to be good stewards.

I don't know Ms. Smith BUT I do know Dr. Freeman. I suspect that Ms. Smith didn't do her job very well and when confronted instead of doing what she was supposed to do started pointing fingers at others..........That doesn't sound familiar......

Ignorance... Using X for XMas as an abbreviation for Christmas has been around for at least 1,000 years. What's funny is that the X is Greek for Chi (the first letter of the Greek word for Christ) In fact one of the earliest christograms used to identify Christians was XP (Chi Rho). An educated Christian isn't insulted by this abbreviation nor should we be insulted by the knucklehead who decides to tell us Happy Holidays thinking they've somehow changed the meaning. Ironically saying Happy Holidays is the same as saying Happy Holy day. So the idiot who thinks they are taking Christ out of Christmas by wishing me a Happy Holy day is doing nothing of the sort and just showing his/her ignorance. Likewise those of my fellow Christians who want to believe the myth and promulgate X'mas as some sort of conspiracy to remove Christ from Christmas show theirs.

Commercialization on the other hand does water down the event but in the end the reasons for celebrating Christmas comes from within and if you are a believer than it's all about Christ no matter what anyone says or does. Only God can convert so why get upset when someone who's lost can't figure that out? ........So Merry Christmas, Happy Holy Day, Happy X'mas. Happy XP Day! ;-) Jesus loves you!

Again I appeal to folks on my side of the fence to get over the loss......

To include those who like to quote scripture to their own liking.

Ironically, Romans 13:1-7 tells us to submit....

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

Come on folks. Lets get over our little pity party and do what we are called to do.

My fellow Americans. The election is over. The people have spoken. Lets do what we've done for 237 years. Time to roll up our sleeves and regardless of which side you WERE on the race is over and we have work to do TOGETHER. While my choice for president did not materialize I respect our laws and our country's process as better than any other in the world. I invite those who voted with me for Romney to accept the results and work together with our fellow Americans. We have 4 years ahead of us before we have another election. We can waste them complaining or give it our best and show the world that DEMOCRACY is the best choice.
