I agree this squawk should be in Rememberance of 9-11
With that being said lets make it that way.
Written by Cheryl Sawyer
As the soot and dirt and ash rained down,
We became one color.
As we carried each other down the stairs of the burning building,
We became one class.
As we lit candles of waiting and hope
We became one generation.
As the firefighters and police officers fought their way into the inferno
We became one gender.
As we fell to our knees in prayer for strength,
We became one faith.
As we whispered or shouted words of encouragement,
We spoke one language.
As we gave our blood in lines a mile long,
We became one body.
As we mourned together the great loss
We became one family.
As we cried tears of grief and loss
We became one soul.
As we retell with pride of the sacrifice of heros
We become one people.
We are One color One class One generation One gender
One faith One language One body One family One soul One people
We are The Power of One. We are United. We are America.
Who is supposed to hold the monitoring company responsible? After what happened to Mr. Phelps you think they would have learned a lesson.
Someone is going to sue them for negligence. Why are the Judges and district attorneys not doing anything about it.
WALB should investigate this.
Why would you leave your wallet in your car in this town anyway.
Im sorry buts thats just careless. Even worse is leaving a gun in your car.
Chances are you will need it before you get to your car, then it cant do you any good.
All politicians lie or stretch the truth. Obama did and continues to do the same.
We do not know these people personally therefore how can we say either way if it’s a lie or not.
We could argue over this day in and day out. But the truth is we must do what is best for this country right now.
We must have jobs and people who are willing to get us out from under this mess.
I do know we cannot continue on the path we are on. We need someone that will put this country back on tract.
Obama and his senate had the opportunity to do so and have failed miserably. We have all spent too much time
dividing ourselves, it’s time we take back our government and hold them accountable. I agree if you’re not doing your job
as Trump would say your fired !
They have the redneck rapper Colt Ford. He is the only big name I saw on the list. We went to see him in Sasser and won’t pay to see him again. Sorry not enough big talent for me to pay to go. Id would loved to see some bigger names that would have drawn people from all over to see. I’m afraid this will be a huge flop, due to lack of talent that people recognize. They should have hired a good orginizer who is used to doing these types of events.
I disagree with both of you. I think he brought a light heartedness to the event. Thought it was quite funny. He was right on target with what he was trying to get across.
It doesn’t always have to be so serious all the time. I personally liked his appearance.
Albany Listen up and take note:
The greatest ally in controlling your response to your
circumstances has been a quality education. But today, today,
when I can look at your zip code and I can tell whether you're
going to get a good education, can I honestly say it does not
matter where you came from, it matters where you are going?
The crisis in K-12 education is a threat to the very fabric of who
we are.
My mom was a teacher. I respect the profession. We need
great teachers, not poor ones and not mediocre ones. We have to
have high standards for our kids, because self-esteem comes from
achievement, not from lax standards and false praise.
And we need to give parents greater choice, particularly,
particularly poor parents whose kids, very often minorities, are
trapped in failing neighborhood schools. This is the civil
rights issue of our day.
If we do anything less, we can damage generations to
joblessness and hopelessness and life on the government dole
(ph). If we do anything less, we will endanger our global
imperatives for competitiveness. And if we do anything less, we
will tear apart the fabric of who we are and cement the turn
toward entitlement and grievance.
Dr. Condoleezza Rice
How about getting the cheaters and the lifetime welfare people off and that would make room for the people that truly need it. We all know there is rampid fraud in these types of programs yet no one does anything about it.

It’s about time. He should have been let go long time ago. Before all the law suites began. City will still have to pay for his carelessness.
