The AP at Monroe is former Tift County Principal Ryan Gravitt. He left Tifton under unclear circumstances. There are rumors in regard to his departure. I looked hard and could find no info that confirms those rumors.
If spook has info into his allegations at Lee Co., then I'd love to know the names.
And I think BR's posts speak for themselves.

I understand that. I heard the same, but I could never substantiate the alledged facebook post or that he approved varying corporal punishment at TCHS. If anyone can furnish me proof of either rumor, I'll go with it.

You have also spelled his name differently twice, this could also be a factor in the facebook rumor.

I spent two days trying to find out what happened with Gravitt in Tifton. Best that I could come up with is that Gravitt and Tift Co. Superintendent Patrick Atwater did not see eye-to-eye and Atwater won the battle. Gravitt and the District then reached a settlement. You might want to talk to James Bush, who made his own investigation.

Oh, I agree with your last sentence. This is what Butch Mosely is trying to correct right now. As far as "atypical?" I don't know. Perhaps a survey of home-schooled students and their parents would be be worth delving into.

I'd just like to say that a quality education can be had in the DCSS. I send two children through the public schools. One graduated from UGA in 2011 and my youngest is now at Darton. Jordan Denson is just one story of many. Some work, some don't. To paint an entire district with the wide brush of "Public Schools of Indoctrination and Abuse." is ridiculous. Just my two cents from someone who has been there.
