A great man and a great coach. Baseball men like him are hard to find these days. Best wishes to him in the future.
This Twins team is nowhere near as good as then. Anything less than a sweep is disheartening.
Speaking of '91, I still say Chuck Knoblauch's fake catch and throw that held Lonnie Smith at second for a split second and cost the Braves a run in the extra innings won that World Series. Nobody ever talks about it, but it was a huge play -- and against baseball rules, too.
He can flat out swing the stick. Good to see BMac back. I wonder if he or Gattis gets traded before the year is out. Trading Mac makes the most sense I suppose with his contract about up and a payday coming.
He was the only guy who could beat UGA... him and the great George Godsey haha. He's probably better now than any QB Tech has on its roster. I'd suit him up if they can finally get him eligible.
We lost to a bunch of white girls. It must have been the uniforms!
Who cares about those two sports? I want to see how their soccer team stacks up. Someone remind me, who won the Region 1 soccer title last year?
That's no fun. I was looking forward to these sure-to-be barn burners. Deerfield vs. all of the Region 1-A literary powerhouses would have been classic.
Can you imagine the possibilities... Deerfield vs. Mitchell Co. in swimming. Deerfield vs. Randolph-Clay in tennis. Deerfield vs. Terrell Co. in baseball. Deerfield vs. Stewart Co. in golf. Those are some classic matchups. I can't wait.
Congratulations. You just got made a fool by all these comments. This clown thinks he knows basketball better than the coaches at Mitchell. Please, I encourage you to put in for the job. LOL. What you and 99 percent of your kind need to learn is that playing ball don't pay the bills. You gotta work!
This may be the dumbest comment in the HISTORY of comments. True Grit... it's something the public schools around here could learn a thing or two about. You're too dumb to know it, but comments like this one only continue the racial divide.
