Trustbuster 1 year ago on Dougherty tax digest: 24 percent tax-exempt

This means that almost 1/4 of this county pays no property taxes at all. Over the years the burden has shifted more and more to homeowners like myself. There are plenty of tax exemptions built in for nonprofits and other organizations such as churches. Also don't forgot government property. We need to find a new way to spread the burden more equally since those who receive services hardly pay any taxes at all. I suggest we start with the elimination of income taxes that contain 1000s of loopholes gained through lobbying by special interests.

Everyone needs to read "Cyber War" by Clark. The new revolution in warfare will be cyberspace. Other nations like China consider cyberspace the new front of warfare.

I agree. A better system should be utilized to verify. I suggest circuit wide grand juries. This was placed on the ballot as a survey two decades ago.

Trustbuster 1 year, 4 months ago on Supreme Court to hear prayer case

If anyone that reads the US Constitution correctly the separation of church and state is not specifically mentioned. The First Amendment prohibits govt. from establishing a national church and prohibiting anyone from freely exercise their right to worship. The Soviet constitution does mention a separation of church and state. Remember that James Madison serves as a congressional chaplain and opened all meetings of the House with a prayer. He authored what became known as the "Bill of Rights."

We should go ahead and expedite the judicial process. I believe a jury trial should be the determining factor.

Trustbuster 1 year, 4 months ago on U.S. Attorney General Holder Recused Himself From Media Subpoena

This clearly violates the First Amendment. Of course this reminds me of Tricky Dick tactics uncovered during Watergate hearings.

Trustbuster 1 year, 4 months ago on Health reform may be unhealthy for politicians

This law will lead to even a greater expansion of govt. by creating more entitlements. The costs already exceed the projections that Obama 's people stated would be back in 2010. The unintended consequences will become higher debt and less choices for the consumer. Most medical insurance premiums have already increased 110% since 2000. Just wait for more sticker shock after 10 years of Obamacare. Sanford Bishop should have been fired by the voters in his district in the last election cycle because he voted to increase the costs of living in S. Georgia. The Supreme Court was correct when it declared the law a tax bill. A huge tax bill for the nation!

He has a right to believe or not to believe in God. That is the purpose why God gives us a free will. We all have choices presented to us throughout life. Jesus is at the door but ONLY YOU can let him in!
