Armed robbery suspect sought December 10, 2013
WTF, it is not my concern how someone's name sounds. One thing is for sure, the innocent children have no choice in the names given to them. Only the true face of evil would seek tro admonish someone for praying for the lives on innocent babies. I don't know where you perceived that I am "southern baptist", but it does show your very limited hate-filled thinking. I mentioned absolutely nothing about anybody being "doomed". Those are your own inherently evil words. You are barking up the wrong tree. Your own wrath be upon you.
Eternal God, our Lord, we thank You for your lovingkindness, because it is better than life itself. For hope that springs everlasting because of the empty cross, we magnify Your Name. Creator of all life, and Thou who hast blessed us with all things good, we thank you! Forgive us now our sins, for they are abundant. Create in us hearts that yearn for Your rigtheousness. Bless these little ones, Lord. Work a work almighty in these parents and remind them that Your Word says to bring them up in the fear and admonition of You. Protect them from harm. Bind the evil one and cast him far away. It is in Jesus' Almighty Name we pray, Amen.
Gracious Father, giver of life, we thank you for this new day and all the opportunities that come with it. We adore You, Lord, as creator and sustainer of our lives. You alone are worthy of all praise. Lord, for these little ones you have created, we give thanks. Only You Lord can create a limitless people and never repeat the same pattern. Each of us is so different from the other, yet made by the same Father. Bless these babies and their families. Remind parents and Your servants everywhere that we are charged with loving and providing for and protecting your children. Bind the evil one, Father, and cast him far away. Change someone's mind about the harm they would cause, Dear Jesus, and cause them to trun to You, as only You can. In the precious name of the Blessed Saviour, Christ our Redeemer, now and forever, Amen.
Gracious and Almighty God, Our Saviour, we thank you for this new day and a new chance to be better citizens of your Kingdom. We thank Your Lord, for newness of life and each special gift you have given to each of these parents. Help us to bring them up in teaching and admonition of You, Lord. Protect them from the evil one. Lord, change someone's mind about the harm they they may think of causing to your babies. We know that You alone are able to fix a person's heart and that all of our hearts were at one time wicked. Remind us Lord that " children are an heritage from the Lord". Remind us Lord that you can take the deadliest of situations and bring peace out of them. For You are the Christ, the Everlasing Lord. It is in Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Oh Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Thy Name in all the earth! You have blessed the world with new babies so that we might know You are truly the Creator. In spite of in vitro fertilization and stem cell research, only You Lord, can breathe life! What an awesome thing for us who believe! Protect these babies Lord, from harm. Change someone's mind about the evil they might do tp them, Father, and cause them to have a change of heart and return to the True and Living God. You can, Lord. Your written Word says that You are able to do abundantly above all that we can ask or think! Bless these parents, Lord and remind them of their charge to love and protect these little ones. Remind us all, Lord, that we are your creations also and help us to be your servants who will build up our fellow brothers and sisters rather than tear them down. Then Lord, we'll be careful to praise your Name forever! Amen.
Gracious and kind Father, we thank you for your word that says that, "Children are an heritage from the Lord...). We thank you, Lord, for newness of life and hope that springs eternal. We hold these babies and their parents up to you Lord, that You might shower them with your lovingkindness and favor. Send now, a fresh anointing on every mom and dad. Help them, Lord, to be loving and giving parents who take seriously the charge they have to take care of your little ones. Lord, protect our babies from the evil one. Lord, even You said that whoever should harm one of these little ones, it would be better for them that a millstone were hung arouond their necks. Lord, these adult children you made are besides themselves. We're drawn to tearing down, rather than building up. Forgive us Lord. Protect us from our own innate sinful nature. In Jesus' almighty name we pray. Amen.
God bless each mother and father of these beautiful, precious ones! May they always have a loving home, nutritious food for strength, and clothes and shoes to protect their bodies from the elements. I pray they'll be brought up in the training and admonition of the Lord. May they grow healthy and wise and find their rightful places in this mean world. Protect them from the evil ones. Teach them to be their brothers' keepers. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Sis Ruby, while you make fun of these babies' names, have you ever considered that they at least have a few years to shape their lives and become contributing members of society? In the meantime, you've spent a many years being a miserable old hag.
Ruby and MRKIA, you must have an inordinate amount of time on your hands to regularly make snide remarks of parents' choices for their children's name. I might not find all the names appealing, but they're really not my business (nor yours). Thank God I don't feel it necessary to to make derogatory comments and pronounce them criminals before they're a week old. And by the way, times have changed. I know some affluent physicians now with names you'd call stupid. Get over your old haggardly selves.
Sister Ruby, since you are so wise and Christian in your old age, why don't pray mightily for the newborns and their parents. To take weekly barbs at their names (whether you think they're ridiculous or not) only shows your rotten attitude and disdain you have for some people. Be certain, hour hate will come back to haunt you.
